Why do I have points in my account that I can’t redeem?

Total Points Earned were calculated from purchases made before the program launched and were used to determine your Real Avid Elite Rewards Program Level. Total Points Earned are not available to redeem at the program launch. You will earn points as you go with RealAvid.com.
What are Available Points vs Redeemed Points vs Total Points Earned?

Available Points: These are the points you currently have and can redeem for rewards.
Redeemed Points: Points that you have already exchanged for rewards.
Used Rewards: Any rewards you’ve claimed and applied to your purchases.
Total Points Earned: This is the cumulative number of points you’ve earned over time through the program. Total Points Earned determines your level status.
How do I earn points?

You can earn points in several ways:

Making purchases: Earn points for every dollar spent on RealAvid.com.
Celebrating your birthday: Receive birthday points every year. Set your Birthday here.
Bonus Points for Leveling Up: Bonus points as you ascend our Rewards Levels.
200 Bonus Points for First Purchase: 200 bonus points for your first purchase in Real Avid Elite.
Referring friends: Earn points for every friend who signs up through your referral.
Special promotions: Look out for exclusive opportunities to earn additional points.
How are points calculated on purchases?

For every $1 you spend on products, you earn 10 points.
This does not include taxes or shipping fees. Certain promotional items may be excluded from earning points.

How do I redeem my points for rewards?

Select the reward you’re interested in via your Points & Rewards Dashboard under ‘My Rewards’ and follow the instructions to redeem your points. Most rewards convert your Available Points into coupons for use on future orders.
Can I redeem my points for cash or a check?

No. Points are redeemable for coupons or rewards offered within the program for use on RealAvid.com only.
Can I redeem awards without an account?

No. Registration is free and easy!

Do my points expire?

No, points do not expire. Come back and redeem your Available Points for rewards at any point in time. Your points and your rewards level are yours for the life of the program. You can only go up. Certain rewards may only be available to redeem as limited time offers.
Can I transfer points? What if I have multiple accounts?

Points are non-transferable and must be redeemed by the member and registered account who earned them. Each email address registered will have their own specific account and point balance. You cannot transfer between accounts.
What happens if I return a purchase that I earned points on?

If you return an item, the points earned from that purchase will be deducted from your total points earned and points available account balance.
Can I get my points back if I return an item I purchased with points?

Are there any restrictions on earning points?

Certain promotional items may be excluded from earning points. Points may also be restricted in the case of suspected fraudulent use. Some international restrictions may also apply.
Do I earn points on items purchased with rewards coupons?

Points are based on the subtotal of the order after all coupons are applied. If the coupon covers the total cost of the order, no points will be awarded. No points are awarded on tax and shipping charges.
Where can I earn and redeem my Real Avid Elite Rewards?

Can I earn points when I purchase a gift card?

No, points are not earned on the purchase of gift cards. However, when the gift card is used for purchases, the user can earn points.
