RAV™-2 Knife: An EDC Innovation in Blade Engineering

The RAV-2 is a strategic embodiment of functionality, distinguishing itself within the everyday carry (EDC) category. The knife features a 3.25-inch drop point blade, a profile that is universally recognized for its strength and versatility. This blade shape provides a large slicing area and a tip that aligns with the blade's center line for improved control during tasks that require precision.

In terms of material, the RAV-2's blade is composed of 8Cr13MoV steel, a medium-carbon stainless steel that offers a balance of wear resistance and edge retention. This is complemented by a black oxide finish, which enhances the steel's corrosion resistance properties while also providing a tactical, non-reflective aesthetic.

The knife's handle is constructed from aluminum, which provides a lightweight yet sturdy support for the blade. Aluminum is favored for its corrosion resistance and its ability to withstand exposure to various environments without significant degradation. The handle's design is purposeful, facilitating a firm grip and precise blade control.

The RAV-2 also features a liner lock locking mechanism, ensuring the blade remains securely in place when open. The inclusion of a spring assist function allows for rapid, one-handed deployment, a critical feature for situations that demand quick and decisive action. This knife is designed for those who value efficiency and readiness in their EDC gear.
