Two punches, one simple solution to the difficult to access bolt catch retaining pin. The orientation of the pin, close proximity to the lower receiver, distance required to safely punch a pin and the difficulty in getting the pin started makes it a real pain with standard punches. Our simple solution is specially designed to fit flush against the receiver without damaging it and is long enough to reach the pin. It features a roll pin punch for removing pins and a magnetized roll pin starter punch that eliminates the need for a third hand. Smart, simple, frustration free.

My thumbs are raw. My nerves are frayed and my patience was worn thin. Because I was using my standard punches to try and get the pin in for my bolt catch. After mangling the pin, I said to myself, self, there’s gotta be a tool for this. And here I am. Found these, went and bought them at my local GS and picked a set up. Literally took three minutes to remove the mangled pin and put in the new one with this set. A beam of light shone upon my head from above as the cherubs sang as my previous frustrations melted away. Seriously though. These are great and it’s convinced me that I need more of what RA makes. If iwhat they sell makes each task they sell a specialized tool for this easy, it’ll be worth every penny.

Awesome set of bolt catch punches!!!
I like that the punches are longer than the standard punches used. Much less chance of hitting the lower when installing the bolt release.
These things work exactly like they are supposed to.if you build or assembly AR lower receivers this set is a must have.
