Level-Right® Pro
Level-Right® Pro
ACCURATE SCOPE MOUNTING MADE EASY
A level reticle is critical to long range Accuracy. For longer shots a canted (or unlevel) reticle will pull or push the bullets trajectory off of vertical center. It gets worse the further the distance increases. A level scope means that the reticle (crosshairs) will be perfectly aligned with the rifle bore. Balancing small levels on a scope turret and gun receivers has been a commonly accepted practice for years. Not only is this a clumsy process, it’s wrong. The turret on most scopes is not perfectly aligned with the reticle (crosshairs), so even if your turret is level to the gun, your scope may not be. Level Right Pro changes all that by simplifying scope alignment in 4 easy steps. Accurate and intuitive, this time saving instrument quickly aligns the actual scope reticle to the horizontal gun plane (regardless of turret alignment), which is key to the long-range accuracy of your rifle. Level-Right Pro helps you quickly and confidently mount a scope for maximum accuracy. "Gawd! Thank you for this product – I’ll happily pay the price, but you could have asked for more… for those who understand the problem anyway! Thank you!" D.L. - Hagerstown, MD

At first I had a hard time wrapping my head around how to use this device but once I realised how to set it up correctly it worked great and I was amazed. Mine came with the level unglued from the device and loose in the box. I leveled the device and glued it back on, no big deal but i would suggest everyone check to make sure the device is in fact level. The other thing I realised is that you must push the shroud down so that it fits snugly to the scope. If it is not touching the V section of the shroud completely to the scope then slid it up and do it again until it is correct. Very Important. The device may look slightly canted on your gun when you do this but that's ok because you will then, adjust the cant of the gun in in your vice to get the level on the Level Right device perfectly level. You may notice that the top of the scope turret may not be level if you check it with a magnetic level but thats ok. Once I get this position then I put a wheeler barrel mount level on the barrel of the gun as a reference point so that when I am done leveling the scope to the Real Avid Grid, I will then check it with a plum bob with the Real Avid device removed. I now use the Wheeler level to level the rifle to start the process using the plum bob at 25ft. I then make any very slight adjustments and then check it one more time with the Real Avid Device and it's usually right on the money. I then leave the Real Avid Device turned on and positioned on the grid while I tighten the scope down watching the Real Avid Device grid to make sure the grid stays aligned to the reticle while tightening. Then I do a tall target test to make sure the reticle is actually vertical. So far it's been right on the money! Great Job Guys! This is a great product and soon I will stop bothering with all the other tests now that I am comfortable with how to set it up for consistent results and have tested it to be accurate using other tried and true methods.
Very nice. Top pick for gunsmithing tools
I gave this product over an hour but ultimately couldn't get the magnet to sit level. I also fiddled with trying to get the reticle sharp on the lines and couldn't get anything but a fuzzy rough estimate. I chose to stick to a digital inclinometer instead.
The flashlight was hard to install, and while doing that the level above came off.
This system makes it easy to level Scopes when using levels on the scope itself is not possible. It is a great product, easy to use, and well worth the price. If you do a lot of scope leveling, this is a must-have in your toolbox. I use it all the time in my Gunsmithing business.
