This spider-man contraption is amazing for my 66 year old blind ^$$!!! Paired with my Real Avid Vise, it leaves my hands free to work on my toys without having to stop and grab my glasses or a flashlight. Haven’t used the phone holder yet but I’m sure I will in the future with all the You Tube Videos out there.
Looks to be just what I needed. Haven't had time to play with it since I just had knee surgery. Will be another 3-4 weeks before I can get to my shop!

Set up the Smart Dock and attached the equipment. Have used it to level a competition scope. Really like it. Very imaginative arrangement.

This makes too much sense. Having a great light while looking though a very clear and stable magnifying glass is must have especially with older eyes. All of this equipment is well built and solid.

Well having issue with glass doesn’t want to stay in place, same when I put cell phone holder. Pricey as well

It is a great tool for every gun enthusiast bench. It will be great if it comes with at least two smart -dock for versatility of use. I have the avid vise and the cleaning station and would like to have smart docks for each.

Seemed like a good addition. I mounted on the wall but that didn't work because of the way it is mounted. Attached to the desk top, better but as I extended the magnifier it wouldn't stay in place. I had to twist the base and take all the slack out before it would stay in place. Sad it doesn't have a charger for the rechargable light. When I asked, I was told that the USB cord is the charger. That's dumb. Lucky I had an old phone charger laying around to use.
this thing is awesome, not only providing me with a bit more light, and a magnifier to help out old eyes. This thing was a great idea, the phone holder is a great addition for watching how to vids or recording your own.
Better than expected
These things like most AVID products are very over-priced and offer minimal work assistance when actually used! These arms arm extremely weak and will not even hold their own magnifying glass or light let alone a cell phone! I was so disappointed that my cell phone kept falling down and would not hold its weight despite being a smaller iPhone 11.
I would not recommend these especially at AVID's price point. Some of AVID's products are an expensive hit but this one is an expensive MISS!

Awesome setup great idea able to use both hands while having something holding the light my phone so I can watch how to videos.
