A properly torqued base is critical to mounting a scope for accuracy whether on a rail system or receiver. Just what the doctor ordered. If he were a combat med, I can't believe it took me this long to buy a torque screwdriver after watching some YouTube videos about them. They recommend this brand, and I don't regret it. Wish I had spent a little more to get the Smart-Torq and Driver Master set.

It has been three days and RealAvid has not replied yet. Firstly, the torque setting was already sitting at a high number when I opened the package. According to the manual, the tool should always be stored at its lowest torque setting, as storing it with the spring compressed can lead to loss of accuracy or potential damage. This makes me question whether the unit I received was previously used or improperly stored. Secondly, the included driver bits appear worn or used. This is not what I expect from a new product. I have even attached photos so they can assess the abysmal condition.

I’ve been looking forward to purchasing more gear from here, but the quality is horrendous for the price paid.
